In New Zealand, many hot drink cups that seem eco-friendly still contain hidden plastic linings or PLA, making them non-recyclable. Most recycling facilities reject all hot cups to avoid contamination — meaning billions end up in landfill.
Glopac solved that problem.
Our cups are made from fully certified paper that is deemed plastic-free, containing no PLA or PFAS. The paper material is independently certified to comply with the Flustix Plastic-Free Product Standard (Certificate FPP009, dated 4 August 2021). This certification applies to the paper material used in the cup and not the finished cup itself.

Adhesive Compliance Statement
Adhesives are supplied by Henkel and are intended for food packaging applications.
The adhesive (Aquence ST21058) does not intentionally contain PFAS substances restricted under EU standards, as supported by the supplier declaration.
This adhesive is used for product bonding in double wall cups and paper straws.
